The repair guy told me the drain pan was badly pitted and needed to be changed out, but since the a/c unit was installed in 1998 the pan is no longer available and the entire evap coil needs to be replace so a new drain pan can be put in. Excellent show. They showed a segment where people in Asia were finning sharks. Makes me want to puke. I know these people want to earn a living, but they are willing to do it at the expense of an irreplaceable resource. These people plunder the oceans, and there is little if anything done to stop them. The clip i saw was of a Taiwanese fishing vessel in international waters. Greenpeace boarded them, and photographed a freezer full of hundreds of sharks worth of shark fins. I don't mean to jab at Asian folks, but it seems to be the Asian cultures and eating customs that do some serious damage to the seas. Whaling, shark finning. And then also, they kill off the critters on land, and sell them on the black market. All in the name of providing an exotic meal. Sad. Whacking tigers and hacking them up for "soup".
